Steve was a fast jet pilot in the RAF during the 1980’s flying Jaguars with 41 Sqn RAF Coltishall, and Harrier GR3’s with 4 Sqn RAF Gutersloh in Germany.

On leaving the RAF in 1989 he joined British Airways, and has flown the Boeing 747-400, 737 and Airbus 320. He has been a Training Captain for many years, and was on the initial team to bring the Airbus A380 into service with BA.

As captivated by flying as he was on the first day, Steve says he still thinks it is magical to have the freedom of a 3-dimensional world, looking down on the countryside. He loves the challenge of display flying, having to be cautious, disciplined and well prepared.

Steve is honoured to have been an AeroSuperBatics pilot for 14 years.
