Walk of Fame

Over the years AeroSuperBatics we have set records, performed to millions of people, and flown many guests on top of our wings. Here are some of our many highlights…

  • In 2018 we flew Norma Howard, the worlds oldest female wingwalker
  • We also hold the record for youngest wingwalker
  • Aled Jones flew with us singing his hit, ‘Walking in the Air
  • We have hosted Blue Peter many times, most notably for the worlds shortest baton pass
  • Top Gear’s Richard Hammond flying with AeroSuperBatics
  • Elon Musk, owner of Tesla and SpaceX flying with AeroSuperBatics
  • First ever Wedding on the wing. Love was in the air in August 2001 when three of our 1940’s aircraft lifted Caroline Hackwood and Justin Bunn – as well as Rev George Brigham – to 1,000ft, where the daredevil due exchanged their wedding vows.
  • In 2019, Jamie Redknapp & Tony Bellow are challenged by James Cordon to perform a formation wingwalk for A League of Their Own, Series 14, Episode 2.
  • We hold the record for the shortest person to wing walk, Kiran Shah, who stands at 1m 26.3cm
  • Team Captains on A Question of Sport, Phil Tuffnell and Matt Dawson, are challenged with wingwalking. “When it comes to sheer terror, nothing will ever match the time Daws and I had to answer questions while wingwalking.  Pulling a few G’s as the plane flips around all over the place.  Sadistic Sue Barker chose to watch Daws and me doing the challenge as one of her top five moments in the entire history of the show” Phil Tuffnell
